QUALIFICATION
OF PLAYBALL COACHES
The base from which all Playball programs are presented
is the successful selection, training and support of the coach who is in fact the business owner.
The children's development and progression is our first priority.
Standards, which are the obvious component of any successful service business, are far easier for us to achieve with a coach
who is also the business owner.
On what have we built the reputation of Playball coaches?
Our goal is that the standards, creativity and commitment to the children of the first Playball program must be achieved at
every centre thereafter
In order to achieve
the required standards, our coaches' training is based on the following components.
They always teach positively
Teaching positively and enthusiastically help the child to develop confidence and overcome
the fear of failure.
They always teach with lots of creativity and fun
They are always active and involved. They have high energy levels on the court and teach with enthusiasm and positivism.
They are always patient and tolerant
They are aware that working with children of Playball
age requires patience and tolerance.
Legitimate
The belief that all of the
Playball programs are a legitimate, as well as necessary component of a child's life.
Training
All our licensed coaches have:
* Complete knowledge of the Playball program.
* Teaching and coaching skills for the ages that we coach.
* Knowledge regarding the running of a service business.
Support
All Playball Licensees are trained and supported in all aspects of their businesses every twelve weeks through a highly successful
workshop system.
The
workshops cover:
* Continued
product knowledge.
* Continued
training in teaching skills.
* Continued training in the running of a small business.
* Support from other Licensees.
This support system is compulsory, ongoing and takes place throughout the year .
